I never expected to be on stages talking about spreadsheets, real estate deals, seller finance terms, and all things numbers… Yikes!
And guess who flunked algebra in 10th grade? Yep!
I hated it! It just felt so impractical so I skipped the homework and that killed my grade.
But now I crank numbers every day and I enjoy it because the math

I got into real estate, not knowing where to start.
I joined a wholesale team where we had to quickly evaluate deals. My job was to be their "creative finance guy."
I spent hours on the phone with sellers, negotiating, offering, recalculating, etc.
But the tools I had sucked.
I mean, how can you tell if a deal is good in the first place??
I knew I had to do something about it instead of whining and complaining, so...
I spent hundreds of hours live, on the phone with sellers, testing, tweaking, asking questions, making offers.
I found out what made them tick, what made them say yes.
I started seeing success with my seller finance module.
I brought the spreadsheet to the guys I was working for:
"Hey, is anybody else using tools like this?"
"No, we've never seen anything like this!
This is amazing!!!!"
So I gave them a copy and the rest of our team started saving time and seeing success!
I wanted to publish it, but I've got standards! So I insisted on having it polished and supported with training before release.
I spent even more time refining, testing, trying to break it, and getting others' feedback.
